DIN 1.6/5.6 Connector Archives

The DIN 1.6/5.6 connector performs at 75 ohm up to 1 GHz. The 1.6-5.6 product series has two coupling versions: threaded and push-pull. The threaded coupling version provides positive, familiar mating, while the push-pull coupling version allows quick installation.

75 Ohm 1.6/5.6 connectors are constructed in jack or plug gender with 75 Ohm impedance. 75 Ohm 1.6-5.6 connectors are available in straight or right-angle versions, as well as, bulkhead or mountless options. These 75 Ohm 1.6-5.6 connector designs include clamp/solder, crimp/solder, or solder attachment methods.

The 1.6/5.6 series is a miniature European design that permits dense connector packing, making them ideal solutions for applications where space limitation is a factor. With a 1 GHz maximum operating frequency, applications are limited to lower frequency 75 Ω radio transmissions such as CATV telecom and CCTV distribution.
